I've stared at this screen for close to 42 minutes now trying to come up with a little intro that would even begin to tell the story of how awesome Alexandra and Byron are.
I literally can't.
From my first coffee-date with Alex, to finally meeting Byron on a fancy yacht (true story.) to them chasing me out of Disney World's Food and Wine Festival (ok, that's not entirely the truth, but I'm pretty sure they were following me the rest of the day - chill, y'all) I knew Alex and Byron would go down as one of my most favoritest couples of all time. Not gonna lie, I've daydreamed about moving in with them, spending my afternoons cuddling their Shiba Inu, Miss Kirin Ichiban, and Byron making me dinner and Alexandra bringing home gallons and gallons of Funky Buddha's Maple Bacon Coffee Porter and we'd bake yummy bars all day ... and then we'd sit by the pool out back and laugh and laugh and talk about "dat light doe" and we'd all live happily ever after. It can happen, right?!
So instead of typing the usual sappy stuff photographer's like to start their wedding day blogs with, I'm just going to straight up copy and paste some of the sweet things Byron has said about his bride:
"To be honest, we didn't exactly hit it off. At first she annoyed me, she found me to be a smartass, but isn't that how this always starts? I could not stop staring at her eyes and her smile. If you know Alex, you know what I'm talking about, she has these big, beautiful, brown eyes, the longest natural eyelashes I've ever seen on a woman, and a perfect smile. A smile that lights up a room. Our first evening was rather uneventful looking back on it but it was the first time we were introduced. Fast forward to February 14th of 2007. Ironically, we both attended an Anti-Valentine's Day Mixer with our respective friends. We began with fun conversation, dancing, and we started taking silly pictures with our friends. We had our first kiss and exchanged phone numbers, and set a date to get together later that week."
8 years later, on February 14th 2015, Alex and Byron done got married.
(Ok I take it back, can all five of us get married?!)
Congratulations, Alex and Byron. I love y'all. Fo reals.
