I've been photographing little Sophia since she was just a few days old. Now, two years later, I crashed their home for 8 hours to document a typical Saturday morning and afternoon.
The beauty in these "Day in the Life" sessions is that nothing is really planned. There's no struggling to find the perfect outfit. No worrying about the weather (it actually rained twice during the day as I photographed them in their home), and no posing. These are all real, honest moments, and I can only hope I did my part as Danielle described in her pre-session questionnaire:
"I cannot remember a time in my life without my daughter, and she is only 2 years old. So, I know that once baby Chloe arrives I won't be able to remember a life without her either. I think documenting the alone time we have had with Sophia will be a wonderful gift to give her in the future, and a wonderful reminder of the life we shared with our first little princess."
Get it, girl. Bruno Mars and Sam Smith get me dancy too.
A HUGE thank-you to my friends Danielle and Jesus (and little Sophia!) for letting me into their lives for a day!
