There's something magical about these Day in the Life sessions. It seems easy enough - show up to a client's home, shove a camera in their face, process the images, and throw them up here on the blog. But something else is happening too - I'm finding the joy and the beauty in all the normal, boring, mundane, what's-so-special-about-that moments that happen EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. in someone else's home.
I've known Brittany and Matt since I photographed their engagement session (I think my first engagement session ever!) and have followed their journey through their gender reveal, maternity session, and even Baby Kennedy's birth story. Now, just a couple short years later, I got to spend the day with Brittany and Kennedy (while Daddy was at work) and quickly learned that mothers (and fathers!) truly have the best job on the planet. The hardest, most awesome job ever. From braids to bubbles, make-up to "check-up", and more wardrobe changes than Beyonce, here's just another Wednesday in the Sapyta household.
Coffee break, y'all.
