If you haven't heard (which I seriously doubt considering I wouldn't shut up about this trip...) I recently took advantage of the Florida summer slow-season and traveled with two of my besties to Spain, Morocco, and Portugal. What started as a solo trip turned into #tresamigas2015 after one night at Jessica's when I finally asked if they would possiblymaybeIdon'tknowcomewithme and next thing I know we're packing our bags for two weeks across three countries.
I don't want to turn this into a no-ones-ever-going-to-read-this wordy post, so I'll just jump in every now and then with captions. I will admit that I didn't take as many photos with my "real" camera as I thought I would, but I'm starting to get over it. Besides, it's not about a million photos, it's about the experience, right? I brought two lenses (and my laptop, and an external drive, and chargers, and batteries... so much for light back-packing!) with me, but never took the 35mm off my camera. I literally lugged my 100 2.8 with me to every city and it never touched my camera.
Our trip started with one day and night in Madrid. Actually, it started with an 8 hour flight across the ocean but nobody wants photos of Sonj in her socks on a plane watching Maleficent for the first time and screaming about what a jerk that guy was to... nevermind.
Palacio de Cristal
Back at our hostel, The Hat Madrid, we went up to the rooftop bar for our complimentary cervezas. All 4 ounces.
The next day, we had time for a quick coffee before catching our train to Sevilla
The next day, we rented bicycles and explored a little more of Sevilla...
