Jessica & Christopher | Ft. Lauderdale Engagement Session
If you've been following Sonju Photography for a while, you might recognize Jessica. I've been photographing her since 2009 (I think?!) and we've had some, shall I say, "adventurous" shoots together. The first time I shot her, I had her lying on the back of a horse, backwards. (That horse ran away from us that day. It ain't easy chasing a horse in a Mazda down a dirt road.) We've shot at an airport, suffered severe sunburns after a day in the water, celebrated Forth of July in an Uncle Sam bodysuit all around Wynwood, and since we didn't have enough fun shooting on a horse, threw Jessica and a horse in a lake. She's been my muse, my workout buddy, my friend, and now, she's Christopher's FIANCE.
So you know I called dibs on that engagement session, yo.
(Actually, she did. Just hours after Christopher proposed on the beach at sunrise, she was already texting me.) For their engagement session, we cruised the intercostal with cooler full of beers and let Jessica and Christopher get all cozy on the water.
